Elaine Delores Garrison

Elaine Delores (Burch) Garrison, 91, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, in Arlington, Texas.

Born on August 25, 1934, in North Dakota to Fred and Elsie (Otto) Burch, Elaine was raised in Gresham, Oregon. A self-taught seamstress with a remarkable talent and eye for detail, she carried her creativity into many aspects of her life.

On May 13, 1953, she married the love of her life, Harold Lloyd Garrison, and together they raised six children, creating a home filled with love, strength, and dedication.

Harold and Elaine lived in California from 1955 to 1995, where she worked for many years and eventually retired from Farmers Insurance. They then moved to Arlington, Texas, where they would spend the last three decades surrounded by family.

Family was the center of Elaine’s world. She was deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always putting their needs and happiness first. Her warmth, resilience, and quiet wisdom were gifts she shared generously.

Elaine is survived by her daughters, Debbra Mead and husband, Kim, Judith Garrison and partner, Cindy Lynch, Carol Eldridge and husband, Tony, Mary Williams and partner, David, and Constance Wray and husband, Mark; her grandchildren, Jason, Michele, Kimberly, Michael, Branden, and Misty; and nine beloved great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and her son, Dean Garrison.

Elaine’s legacy lives on in the family she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
