Dylan Wayne Watkins, born on May 10, 2001, passed away at the age of 23 on October 10, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Known for his vibrant spirit and generous heart, Dylan was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose passion for life was evident to all who knew him.
Dylan graduated from Mansfield Legacy High School and furthered his education at the Universal Technical Institute, where he honed his skills that would later define his career path. He was a dedicated employee at WRL Premier Tinting, where his expertise and work ethic were greatly valued.
Beyond his professional life, Dylan was an avid enthusiast of motorcycles and exotic cars. He spent many joyful hours riding motorcycles and attending car shows, sharing his passions with a close-knit community of fellow enthusiasts. His love for adventure also extended to camping and go-karting, activities that allowed him to enjoy the great outdoors and the thrill of speed and competition.
Dylan's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his mother, Jackie DePottey and friend Robert Reeves; his father, Kevin Watkins and his wife, Claudia; his brother, Mateo; his grandparents, John and Kathy Menefee; his aunt, Christine Davis and her husband, Robert, and cousins Kaylee and Jax; and his uncle, Matthew Menefee.
Dylan's legacy of kindness, humor, and courage will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
