Doyle Douglas
Feaster
November 13, 1934 – April 15, 2026
Doyle Douglas Feaster, age 91, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Pantego, Texas. He was born on November 13, 1934, in Holland, Texas, to Buford and Ethel Feaster, the youngest of their children, Ruth, Sonny, and Lee (Speck).
Doyle shared a remarkable love story with his beloved wife, Marjorie Lanette Feaster, who preceded him in passing on August 30, 2025. Their bond began in the seventh grade, blossomed after high school, and grew into a marriage that spanned 67 devoted years. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and adventure—traveling the world and taking family road trips across the United States, especially to their cherished summers in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Their partnership was one of deep companionship, faith, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his son, Scott Feaster, and his daughter, Julie Howell and her husband Scott, his niece Vicki, and well as his cherished grandchildren, Madeleine and Harrison, who lovingly knew him as “Papa.” He was preceded in death by his siblings; Ruth, Sonny, and Lee (Speck). As the youngest, Doyle brought special warmth and humor to his family that remained throughout his life.
Doyle enjoyed a long and successful career as a transportation salesman and later as a Vice President of Sales, spanning more than three decades. His work took him across the nation from coast to coast. He earned countless awards and achievements, but what he valued most were the relationships he formed along the way. Doyle often said his customers were his friends—and he treated them as such, with genuine care, honesty, and respect.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Doyle found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He loved spending time on the golf course and played well into his later years. He was a passionate fan of the Texas Longhorns, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. He enjoyed grilling ribeye's on his green egg, gathering with family and friends for cards and dominos, and sharing laughter that came easily thanks to his quick wit.
Faith and community were central to Doyle’s life. He and Marjorie were deeply involved members of Trinity United Methodist Church and later First United Methodist Church, where they built lasting friendships and exemplified true fellowship. Together, they were known for their kindness, generosity, and the genuine way they connected with others—qualities that left a lasting impression on all who knew them.
Doyle carried himself with quiet strength, grace, and dignity. Even in his final days, he remained witty, resilient, and full of character. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure. While his absence is profoundly felt, his legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the friendships he nurtured, and the life he so beautifully shared with Marjorie.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make charitable dontaions to Mission Arlington in memory of Doyle and Marjorie Feaster.
