Douglas Bryce Forte

ARLINGTON -- Douglas Bryce Forte, 46, had the good Lord inscribe a "Rest In Peace" blessing beside his name on Saturday, April 11, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Memorial service: A private family celebration of Doug's life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington at a date yet to be determined. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, to which Doug was a frequent and generous contributor. Doug was born March 30, 1969, in San Diego, Calif. He attended The Oakridge School and Martin High School in Arlington. Doug was a graduate of Texas Tech University, active in student government, and played on the club rugby team. He worked as an information technology sales manager at different companies. Survivors: Mother and father, Bonnie and Ronald Forte; sister, Audra Forte Mullins and husband, Steve; nephews, Silas and Bode Gordon; and aunts and uncles, Kim and Ken Smith, Jim and Stacey Harris, and Bruce Forte.
