Mr. Donald Lynn Newsom

Donald Lynn Newsom, 67, passed away Thursday, November 24th, 2023. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Mansfield High School. He was a longtime resident of Arlington, Texas and was retired from General Motors after over forty years of employment.

Don was an avid gardener and loved his many pets.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Helen June Bratton and father Bobby Gene Newsom; nephew Josh Skelton.

He is survived by his son Zachary Newsom and stepmother Frances Newsom. He also leaves behind his sister Ronda Skelton and husband David and sister Stacy Fater and husband Perry. Donnie also leaves behind his brother Tony Johnson and wife Shana and brother Bobby Newsom and wife Dalene; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30th, at 2:00 at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. Funeral service will follow at 3:00. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
