Donald Edmund Jensen

ARLINGTON -- Donald Edmund Jensen, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb 11, 2013, in Arlington. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 2100 N. Davis, Arlington. Memorials: Those wishing to honor his memory may make a donation to Catholic Charities, www.ccda.net. Don, a native of Oak Park, Ill., served in the Army during World War II. He had a successful career in national advertising with General Electric and Curtis Mathes. His proudest accomplishment was his family. He and his wife, Mary Louise, raised six children together over their 61-year marriage. He was a generous and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him. Survivors: His loving wife, Mary Louise; children, Paul, Mary Ann, Steve, Patricia, Nancy and Barbara; and grandchildren, Derek, Sean, Neal, Erin, Nigel and William.
