In loving memory of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many, Mrs. Diana Lane passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on August 1, 2024 at the age of 64. She was a devoted wife and daughter, nurturing mother, doting grandmother, beloved sister, cherished aunt, dear cousin, supportive coworker, inspiring teacher, and loyal friend.
Mrs. Lane was a beacon of love and selflessness, always putting the needs of others above her own. Her life revolved around her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart, and she found joy in caring for and nurturing those around her.
For nearly half of her life, she devoted herself to teaching young, underprivileged children in kindergarten, first, and second grade. Her passion for education and her unwavering dedication to her students went beyond the classroom, as she became a source of inspiration and support for countless children and their families.
She was also a dedicated foster mother for many years. She took pride in shaping the lives of her foster children, offering them hope and positivity to look forward to amid the challenges they had faced.
In early 2023, she was officially diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer, and shortly thereafter with pancreatic cancer. Over the course of two challenging years, she demonstrated unparalleled courage and resilience as she bravely faced the trials brought on by her illnesses. Throughout this arduous journey, she continued to radiate strength and grace, sharing moments of laughter and joy with her husband, family, and friends, even in the midst of adversity.
Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication to making the world a better place for those around her. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those she touched. The lessons she imparted and the love she shared will be carried on by her loved ones, ensuring that her incredible legacy endures for generations to come.
She is survived by her loving husband David Lane Jr., devoted children, Harrison [Katie] Hobgood, Hannah [Harrison] Noto, Kyleigh [Jason] Halsey, Mackenzie [Taylor] Day, she leaves behind 8 adoring grandchildren, in-laws David Sr. [Peggy] Lane, her dear siblings, Steven Cramer, Patti Cramer-Warner
[Ben] Warner, Mike [Carolyn] Cramer, Michael [Nina] Lane, her cherished nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.
