SPC. Denzel Enrique Uylett (US Army)

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Denzel Enrique Uylett, who departed this life on July 16, 2026, at the age of 26. Born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 26, 2000, to Frank and Dianne Uylett, Denzel was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of all who knew him. 

Denzel is survived by his loving father, Frank Colville, as well as his siblings: Dwayne Uylett, Kamal Uylett, Petagay Uylett, Lauri-Ann Uylett, Daniel Uylett, Yasmin Uylett, and Jada Hawkins. He also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dianne Corolla Uylett. 

Denzel completed his high school education before bravely serving his country in the Army. Those who had the privilege of knowing him remember his infectious smile, his dedication to fitness, and the joy he found in spending time with friends and loved ones. He had a tremendous spirit of generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Denzel's caring heart and selfless nature will be deeply missed. 

Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 -8:00 PM at Wade Funeral Home. Funeral services for Denzel will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Wade Funeral Home, with ceremonies reflecting on his profound impact on our lives. The burial will be immediately following service at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211, at 1:15 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his extraordinary life and the love he shared so freely. 

As we honor Denzel's memory, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, strength, and love. May he rest in peace, and may we always hold him in our hearts.
