With profound love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Dedrick Teo Malone, who was born on December 30, 1985, in Merced, California, to Sarah Malone and Dedrick Malone. Dedrick's life was marked by unwavering faith, deep devotion to his family, and a strong work ethic that inspired everyone who knew him.
Dedrick received his education at Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas, Winter Haven High School in Winter Haven, Florida, and Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia. Throughout his life, he embraced new experiences and built lasting friendships wherever his journey led.
He was employed by SCADA System LLC in the oil and gas industry, where he was respected for his dedication, reliability, and determination. His commitment to excellence was recently recognized with a well-earned promotion to Pumper, a testament to his perseverance, skill, and outstanding work ethic.
Dedrick was a faithful member of Saragosa Seventh-day Adventist Church in Saragosa, Texas. His faith served as the foundation of his life, guiding his actions and strengthening his love for God, his family, and his community.
Above all, Dedrick treasured his family. He was the devoted husband of Esther G. Malone, whose love and partnership brought him great joy. He was a proud and loving father to Adrian Budde, Elijah Malone, Jahnaya Gillham, and James Miranda, whom he lovingly embraced as his son by love. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, encouraging those he loved, and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Dedrick also leaves behind his beloved siblings: Sabrena Nathaniel, Salina Hart, Wallace Brevard, Medina Juko, Tasleema Brevard, Mecca Brevard, Fard Brevard, and Jasmine Malone, along with a host of extended family members, dear friends, coworkers, and church family who will forever cherish his memory.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Dedrick's legacy of faith, love, kindness, resilience, and hard work will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life reminds us to love deeply, work diligently, and trust God through every season.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dedrick Teo Malone during a viewing and visitation on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home & Crematory.
