Daisy Kotwal

July 28, 1936 — August 16, 2025

Daisy Ruth "Jenni" Kotwal was born on July 28, 1936 in east Texas. We lost her beautiful soul on August 16, 2025 to a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She was raised on a farm by her grandparents, momma and papa Bowers where she learned the love of country and "All" things nature. She relished the many days she rode her horse, Maude, to Bardwell High School where she excelled in basketball.

Following graduation she lived her life with a joyful, compassionate, zest and a lifetime LOVE of all things chocolate. She attended Baylor University, hobbied in ice figure skating, married, became a homemaker and mother of four children, served in healthcare for the OB patients at Deaconess hospital of OKC, as well devoted herself to the residents and patients of the unwed mothers home. Throughout her life, she embraced any person or animal in need, whether a neighbor, friend, homeless person, stray or shelter animal. If you knew her, you would not be surprised to see her serve a menagerie of animals Thanksgiving dinner around the front yard tree at her Plano home or be shocked if you saw a skunk, raccoon, opossum, cat, dog or duck faithfully following behind her on their daily walk.

Her smile, love, generosity, sense of humor and laughter will forever be remembered and missed each day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dilip C. Kotwal, her brother Chois L. Bowers, her sister Ireba Bowers, her parents William E. and Lorene Bowers and her grandparents.

Surviving immediate family include: son's - Michael C. Kotwal, Leon E. Kapraun Jr. and daughter's - Kathy J. Kapraun, Julia Renee' Bondurant and husband Robert F. Bondurant, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her wishes were cremation with no viewing, memorial nor celebration of life service. In lieu of floral considerations, donations would be appreciated to further Alzheimer's research @ utsouthwestern.org
