Brian met the love of his life, Dori, while attending Mary Hardin-Baylor University, where he was a standout basketball player on a full-ride scholarship. They married on February 16, 1991, and built a life filled with faith, laughter, music, and enduring love. Together, they also opened their hearts and home to over 100 foster children.
A lifelong learner and teacher, Brian earned his master’s degree in the Art of Psychology and spent the last 16 years as an adjunct professor at Northwood University. He also shared his knowledge and passion for education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Columbia University, shaping countless lives with his wisdom, compassion, and insight.
A devoted Catholic and active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Brian served his parish with great heart. He taught Sunday school, baptism classes, and volunteered his time for the "How to Keep Kids Safe" program—always focused on making a difference in the lives of others, especially children.
Outside the classroom and church, Brian brought dedication and innovation to his work as a Turf Development Manager at Kubota Tractor. His work ethic, creativity, and leadership left a lasting mark on his colleagues and the industry.
Among all his accomplishments, Brian was most proud of his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He loved and adored his family deeply, and the joy he found in his granddaughter was unmatched.
Brian’s legacy is one of faith, integrity, kindness, and service. He will be remembered for his quick wit, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
