Billy Glen Durham

Billy Glen Durham, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was born on October 6, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas. He passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him. Billy was the son of Samuel A. and Helen E. Durham. 

A proud graduate of Eastern Hills High School, Billy continued his education at the University of Texas at Arlington. He dedicated a significant portion of his career as a machinist for American Lift Truck, where his skills were appreciated and respected by his colleagues.

 Billy had a passion for life that shone through in his hobbies. He was an avid chess player and was hard to beat. He found joy in both golfing and fishing, often spending his free time immersed in the great outdoors. These moments of tranquility exemplified his love for nature and the simple pleasures of life. 

Billy will be laid to rest through cremation, a reflection of his humble nature and desire for simplicity. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him, and he will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unwavering support. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel A. and Helen E. Durham. He is survived by his brothers, Gary C. Durham and Bobby N. Durham and wife, Cindy Durham; niece, Shelley Durham; and great-nephew, Matthew Martin.
