Billie Sue Stambulich, 94, peacefully fell asleep in the arms of Jesus May 7, 2026. Billie was born June 29, 1931 in Files Valley, Texas. She grew up in Waco, Texas and graduated from Waco High School in 1949. After graduating she went on to work for Welders Supply Company and Retail Merchants Credit Bureau. She met John Stambulich in Killeen, Texas at a dance while he was stationed at Fort Hood. They married July 18, 1952. They lived in Chicago, Illinois until 1964, then returned to Texas and made their home in Arlington.

Billie enjoyed gardening and took pride in watching her flowers grow and bloom. She was also a wonderful cook who loved feeding and caring for her family. John and Billie loved to dance and made life long friends attending the Senior Dances around the DFW area. They loved their Texas Rangers and were season ticket holders for many years. They also loved to travel and in doing so they saw the United States from coast to coast.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John Stambulich, mother and stepfather Beatrice and Roy Carradine, father MD Jenkins, Sr., brother MD Jenkins, Jr. (Sonny), son Garry Stambulic, daughter Pat Stambulic Williams and grandson-in-law Michael Stambulic.

She is survived by five daughters: Pam Duke and husband Ronnie, Donna Kelly (Rick), Brenda Evans, Laurie McLaughlin and husband Jimmy and Julie Stambulic; Nine grandchildren: Matt Duke (Jennifer), Josh Duke, Elliott Evans and wife Cheryl, Justin McLaughlin and wife Amber, Tristan Evans and husband Dennis, Ashley Stambulic (Travis), Anthony Stambulic, Adam Stambulic, Leslie Elms and husband Taylor; ten great grandchildren: Ethan, Shalyn (Tyler), Zoe, Kayden, Mason, Kyler, Noah, Ava Rose, Sophia Ann and Gemma; and her sister and brother-in-law Louise and Thomas Talley. She is also survived by many extended family members, beautiful friends, along with her soon to be born great grandson Tate, and her beloved grand dog MaeBea, who remained faithfully by her side for many years.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow.
