Betty was born on December 27, 1945, in Washington, D.C., to Milton and Dorothy Pearce. She grew up in Tioga, Texas, in Grayson County, where she developed the roots and values that would remain with her throughout her life. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 1964 and went on to attend North Texas State University, where she earned a degree in Medical Technology.
Following college, Betty began a career in healthcare, working for many years as a medical technician at Baylor Hospital. She later pursued a career in sales with Office Depot, where she spent more than 20 years building relationships with customers and colleagues before retiring. Her friendly nature and ability to connect with people served her well throughout both careers.
Betty had a wonderful sense of adventure and a passion for experiencing all that life had to offer. She loved to travel, explore new places, and make memories along the way. Of all the destinations she visited, Barcelona, Spain, held a special place in her heart. She also cherished her travels to New York and Alaska, along with the many other adventures she enjoyed throughout the years. A devoted fan of the Rolling Stones, Betty traveled to see the legendary band perform live in concert on numerous occasions. Music, travel, and new experiences brought her tremendous joy.

Betty also enjoyed the simple things that made life special. Purple was her favorite color, she was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, and she had a deep affection for her beloved dogs. Her love for animals reflected the tender and caring side of her personality.
Faith and service were also important parts of Betty's life. She was a longtime member of First Methodist Church in Grapevine, where she enjoyed fellowship and generously gave her time through volunteer work. Her willingness to serve others was another expression of the kindness and compassion she shared so freely.
Above all, Betty loved her family. She held a special place in her heart for her niece and nephews and took great joy in being part of their lives. Family gatherings, shared memories, and the bonds she maintained with those she loved meant so much to her. Her family and friends will forever remember her enthusiasm for life, her independent and adventurous spirit, and the warmth she brought into their lives.
