Betty Helen Hawkins

Betty Helen Hawkins, aged 92, of Arlington, Texas, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2026. Born on December 3, 1933, in Sweetwater, Texas, Betty was the beloved daughter of Robert and Della Clark. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.

Betty was united in marriage to Horace Bertrum Hawkins Jr., who preceded her in death in 2009. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as an officer at Arlington National Bank, where she was respected by colleagues and clients alike for her dedication and kindness. An avid reader, Betty was a cherished member of a local book club, where she shared her love for literature and developed deep friendships. Her warmth, laughter, and compassion will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

She is survived by her sons, Tommy (Carol) Hawkins, David Hawkins, Terry Hawkins; and daughter, Shannon Beckman. 

Preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny and Robert “Bobby” Clark, who will carry her spirit in their hearts. Betty will be forever missed. Her legacy of kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
