Aubrey Clayton Castile Jr.

It is with both deep sorrow and abiding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ that we announce the passing of Aubrey Clayton Castile Jr., who was called home to be with the Lord on June 26th, 2025. He was 48 years old.

Aubrey was born on March 26, 1977, in Houston, Texas, to Aubrey Clayton Castile Sr. and Caroline Ann Castile, who lovingly raised him in a home rooted in love, faith, and perseverance. From an early age, Aubrey radiated a rare blend of charisma, kindness, and humility that would touch countless lives throughout his journey.

A graduate of Angleton High School, Aubrey was crowned Homecoming King of the Class of 1995, a title that reflected his magnetic spirit and the admiration of his peers. He shined both on the football field and on the stage, showcasing his athletic talents and remarkable gift for performance as a beloved thespian. He went on to attend Sul Ross State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and became a College Football Champion (NAIA)—an achievement he cherished deeply.

Professionally, Aubrey found success as an Account Executive in Sales with Light Speed, where he consistently ranked in the top three across the company—a testament to his dedication, intelligence, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Aubrey’s greatest joy, however, came from the love of his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Mariana Quintana, and a tender, proud father to their two beautiful daughters, Magdalen Aubriana Castile and Natalia Maria Quintana. His sister, Tawana Castile, remained his lifelong confidante and friend.

Family was the core of Aubrey's life and that showed in the countless number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends that will continue on his legacy of light and love. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved dog, Caius, a 3.5-year-old companion he adored and lovingly called his best friend.

To know Aubrey was to be welcomed, accepted, and seen. He never met a stranger and had the unique ability to make everyone he encountered feel like the most important person in the room. Whether he was making you laugh, lending a listening ear, or offering encouragement, Aubrey's presence was a gift—joyful, down-to-earth, and deeply rooted in Christlike love.

His legacy is one of light, laughter, friendship, and faith. He was a friend to many, loved by all, and will be missed beyond measure.

Aubrey’s life will be celebrated at two memorial services:

Saturday, July 12th, 2025, in Houston, Texas

Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at Crossroads Tabernacle in Fort Worth, Texas

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), causes dear to Aubrey’s heart.

Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Christ Jesus, confident that Aubrey now walks in glory, surrounded by the everlasting peace of our Heavenly Father.
