Anne Whitley Frazor

Anne Frazor, a woman of strength, conviction, and quiet generosity, passed away leaving behind a legacy shaped by resilience, creativity, and deep care for others.

She was known for her headstrong and strong-willed nature, paired with a thoughtful and politically minded perspective. While she held firm beliefs, she always made space for the needs and well-being of those around her. Her life reflected a balance of determination and compassion that touched family, friends, and her community.

Her passions were rooted in both land and artistry. She found great fulfillment in farming and ranching, building and operating a registered Black Simmental cattle ranch in Dublin, Texas. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to own and operate The Flying Needle, a quilting shop in Stephenville, Texas, for 25 years. Through this work, she not only cultivated a business but also fostered creativity and connection among fellow quilting enthusiasts.

A devoted artist, she expressed herself through painting and maintained a lifelong love for the arts. Whether working with fabric, canvas, or the land itself, she brought beauty and intention to everything she created.

Later in life, she retired to Arlington, Texas, carrying with her the many accomplishments and relationships she built over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Jokel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Frazor; her step-son, James Frazor; her grandson, Thomas Ian Jokel; and her brother, David Drain, who passed away on April 7, 2026. All were of Stephenville, Texas.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the work she created, and the enduring example of strength and care she provided to those who knew her.
