Anita Louise Story died on April 13, 2026 in Arlington, Texas after a short illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Anita was born on December 12,1937 to Herman and Alice Krantz. She was their only child and the “apple of her parents’ eye.”
Anita graduated from Poly High School in 1955 and soon married her beloved husband, Lawrence M. Story. They were blessed with 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren during their 70-year marriage.
Anita was a homemaker and what a home she provided for her family. Every birthday and holiday was an occasion to celebrate with delicious food, a beautifully decorated home and love.
There was no sweeter person than Anita. Her family was blessed to have the kindest mother and grammy in the world. She lived her life with quiet strength, a humble heart and will be forever missed.
Lawrence and Anita were long time and very active members of Sagamore Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Left to cherish their memories are husband, Lawrence Story; their daughters and husbands, Jan and Ed Hall, Kay and Rusty Reeves , Teri and Brooks Rudd; and grandchildren, Tyler Reeves, Austin Reeves, Kaylea McClure, Josiah Hall, Katy Hall, Hayden Rudd, Landon Rudd and Ashlyn Rudd; and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, April 19, 2026, 4:00-6:00pm Wade Funeral Home.
Funeral: Monday, April 20, 2026, 1:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Burial: Monday, April 20, 2026, Laurel Land - Rose Hill Cemetery.
