Angela Rincon Montez

Angela Rincon Montez, born October 2, 1947, in Big Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026.

Angela was the cherished daughter of Angelita Corrales Rincon and Miguel M. Rincon. She devoted her life to her family and to the people she loved most. For 59 years, she was faithfully married to her husband, Peter Montez, sharing a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering commitment.

She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Angela L. Montez and Jackie Montez Edwards (Husband: Logan Edwards). Angela took great pride in her role as “Mom” and found her greatest joy in being a grandmother to Harper Edwards, Penelope Edwards, and Kenneth Edwards.

Angela was known for her warmth, quiet strength, and deep love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

Funeral services for Angela will include a visitation on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wade Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 1:15 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
