Condolence From: Jean Foster Paulsel
Condolence: Eddy was a year behind me in school, but we were in the band together and he was just a sweetheart. When I saw his smile in this picture, I knew I could have picked him out of a crowd, even all these years later. My heart aches for his family, and I will keep you in my prayers.

Condolence From: Rev. J. Bruce Langley
Condolence: I have been so glad to have known Eddy since 1960 when I first met him in the second grade to this day. So many good memories through school, ROBC, high school band, and beyond. We will all miss him so much and will pray for his family during this tough time. When I think of Eddy, I think of someone who had a kind heart, an unpretentious smile, and a love of God. I look forward to seeing you on the other side, my brother.

Condolence: Ed and I worked together at a shipyard in Galveston. We lived together while at A&M. He and Maurci brought their kids up to Colorado and took my daughter camping with them.

Rest in Peace, Eddy Dean

Condolence: Eddy and I were friends and family, I loved him like a brother. My oldest son is named Eddy Charles after him and my Dad. The last time I saw Eddy was when we buried my mother in August 2016. We spent a lot of time together thru high school, at ROBC, and just hanging out. He will be missed. All my love to his Family.

Condolence: I have so many wonderful memories of Eddy in my life, but the one that best exemplifies the kind of person he was occurreed when my mother passed away in 2004. Eddy, who for a short time lived with my family during the summer after his family moved to Utah, was very fond of my mother as she was of him. He also knew how close I was to my mother. The week of her funeral, he spent many hours with me to emotionally support me and to keep me company. But he didn’t “disappear” after the funeral—he continued to call me, come by to see me, and invite me to be a part of his fmily’s life. I already thought the world of him, but that just sealed my affection for him for eternity.

I extend my deepest condolences to his family who I know miss him so very much. My prayer is that you will find comfort in the days ahead through your memories of your beloved son, brother, children, and husband.

Condolence: Tom and I are so sorry for the loss of Eddie. I remember a skinny, blond-headed kid running around the backyard at Maurane's house. Always smiling. The pain never goes away but you will start to remember small things that make you smile. Eddie is always in our hearts. The small things will soon help push out the pain. Keep loving ALL our family and know that we will be together some day. We love you so very much.

My darling grandchildren. You are shining examples of your dad. He was so proud of
You and still is. He was a wonderful guy and so glad I had him for a son-in-law. I
Have great memories of him and his cute little smile. He will be in our heats forever.

Condolence: I will always remember Eddy, his parents and their country home where some of us youth at ROBC were invited to go frog gigging. Momma Edwards fried up a mess of frog legs which jumped in the frying pan and scared us half to death. Eddy was a true friend in high school, and a leader at ROBC youth group. He played an awesome horn in band and would sneak me on the bus as a then football player to see CHS participate in battle of the bands. When I did not graduate at the same time as others in my class, by half of credit, he led our youth group in buying and signing a Sr. annual to encourage me. I attempted to reconnect with Eddy when I heard he lived in Galveston for a while, but it was difficult at that time. I will never forget his friendship when I needed it most.
