Condolences

Condolence From: Sally McKeever
Condolence: I was sorry to hear of Roy's passing but not surprised. He made the effort to come to Harry's viewing and it was obvious that his time was coming. He was a good friend of Harry's and as the 2 "field" men , they shared many similar experiences and traits. They were men of a different era- family oriented, career loyal, and sports minded. Of course, their friendship included the "K" basketball bets.(Kansas and Kentucky). Shirley and I benefited from those--lunches at great restaurants. Harry always chuckled at how much Roy loved great dining. Prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Peace and love, Sally McKeever

Condolence From: David Howell
Condolence: I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful man who I had the pleasure of working for @ Campus Billiards while attending UTA during 72-73 school year. I spent many hours learning the game of billiards, but more importantly the game of life. I had no Father in my life at this time and Leroy always took time out to talk to me and help guide me thru these pivotal years of a young man's life. I have told the story many times over the years how once during our daily pool game,I made a nice little run of 32 balls and was really feeling quite proud to be so far ahead....your Dad just gave me that look and said I should just sit down and keep racking....he made 110 straight balls to close me out. We had a good laugh about that. I hadn't kept up with him for many years, but he was always a key figure for me growing up. Your Family is in my thoughts and Prayers during this difficult time. God Bless you all.
